Lee Ackerson, an MSU Animal Science graduate, joined the lab as a graduate student. Lee is a Michigan native and is passionate about the concept of “One Health”. Lee will be working on a project to estimate antimicrobial resistance gene abundances in metagenomic samples of animal agriculture origin.
